1. Guide Questions:

1. Why did the Noli Me Tangere have such a big impression on the narrator? Could you relate to the narrator's experience of reading? Why or Why not?

Answer:  It had such a big impression to the narrator after reading it for he felt that he needs to be compassionate about what happened way back then. There are also kinds of people who can easily relate to some experiences and I'm one of them because me as a person could easily relate to some relative experiences.

2. Have you ever felt the same about a book that you had read? What book was it? Why did it leave such a huge impression to you?

Answer: I haven't really read a book or any kind of literature work of art but if I do, I can say that I could relate to it if its aligned with my type of interest when choosing a topic.

3. Do you think a book can ever elicit such a strong response in the Philippines?

Answer: I think that it cannot elicit such a strong response mainly because if we would try to recall what happened in the time of Rizal, after publishing his work of arts, it signaled for a big revolution among our Filipino people to fight back against slavery and just basing on that, we can really say that it could not elicit a strong response.

4. "Art is a reproach to those who receive it". Should it be a reproach, should we relate it to society?

Answer: It means the Art is a burden or somehow a curse to those who possess it. Art is a very interesting one and there's nothing to be disapproved with it, and I think it should be expressed and be seen by all people in the whole World. It can be compared in the society, because poor people has nothing to do to express such art within our Souls. And Rich people has everything to color their world while laiding dark colors to those who are poor.

5. The act of reading was a historic act, what did he mean? Do you think this is true even today?

Answer: The narrator meant that it was a kind of collectors item for it is very precious and should be handed down from generation to generation in order to preserve its very important content because it talks about historical acts.

6. Do you think you would have been moved to fight against the government after reading the novel?

Answer: After reading,  I was moved to fight back but I would be discourage to fight its because of the imbalance of power in the society in which we are overpowered that time by the one's who are colonizing us.

7. They say, that the act of reading gives people more empathy and makes these more critical and reflective. Do you think this is true?

Answer: What they say is true its because through reading you will acquire many perspective and lesson in life. Sometimes people would also relate what reality will be bringing to the book or novel that they had read and that way, people become sensitive and compassionate towards other people.

8. What is the importance of literature to society? Is this still applicable today?

Answer: The importance of literature to society nowadays is that, it serves as a reminder and sometimes could be an eye opener to what is really happening in our society.

9. Why is Noli Me Tangere, a book that was banned in the past, now a required reading in Philippine Schools? Why did the Catholic Church go against making the Noli a requirement?

Answer: It is required reading in Philippine Schools now its because we already have that what we call "Rizal Law" that states that irequires all levels in Philippine schools to teach the novel as part of their curriculum. It also emphasizes the positive qualities of a Filipino and became an instrument for creating a unified Filipino National Identity. The church go against making the Noli because it expose the inequities of Spanish Catholic priest, also exposes the false government and honestly wrong doings of Filipinos that led to failure and friars got wronged by the works of Rizal.

10. Do you think there should ever be a time when certain books should be banned? Why or why not?

Answer: It depends on the situation, if the book would lead to conspiracy and could not contribute to the betterment of the society then it would be better if we ban the book However, if it would lead to something great and could contribute, then why ban? That would be something that we need to contemplate.
